- Safety, Equipment maintenance
- Look through Email Etiquett handout

- Paper Sculpture - thinking in 3D
- Introduce Project 1 - Drawing in Space - Wire Sculpture
- no stuffed animals, bottles, toys, flat objects
- think about clothes, household objects, tools

- Upload photo of paper sculpture to canvas
- Introduce yourself in the Canvas discussion forum
- Bring a sketchbook for next class
- Look at wire sculpture powerpoint

- Purchase/bring:
- Other wire (Copper, brass, and look at smaller wire gauges - 18, 20, 24, etc.)

- Small wire pliers/wire cutters
- Watch - How To/Techniques: Photograph a sketchbook

- Wire Sculpture Techniques:
- Use smaller silver wire to attach pieces (remember: silver wire is hard to see)
- Use color wire to add details, points of visual emphasis (make sure colors can be easily seen)
